Ok did the rear rotors yesterday and Im starting birfileds tomorrow my question is where can I get the brake lines that go from caliper to axle all 4 of them .

Are you running a lift? If so, plan to get extended lines. Everyone has their own feelings on this, but I went stainless. In truth, even new OEM lines and fresh fluid will make a huge difference. Don't forget the three chassis to axle lines. There's seven in total.

Lift or not, caliper to axle soft line OEM part numbers are:

Front Flexible Lines to Caliper 90947-02A16 QTY 2
Rear RH Flexible Line to Caliper 90947-02614 QTY 1
Rear LH Flexible Line to Caliper 90947-02615 QTY 1

I have planned a 2" lift since I bought my truck, so when I was doing the brakes, I bought and installed the Slee longer SS brake hoses for a 2" lift.

I have yet to actually BUY my lift, let alone install it. Over 3 years so far.

Toyotapartsdeal.com. Just paid 150 including shipping

Why extended lines from caliper to axle? Those lengths don't change no matter if stock or 6" lift.

Now axle to chassis, that's a different situation.

They don't. They come as a set and I replaced ALL of mine because they were 18 years old and crunchy........Now they are ALL stainless so I can go faster, stop shorter, and have more HP all the time.

Oh, and now i get 20 MPG out of my petrol 80.

I jumped to 24mpg with the new stainless lines. You must have bleed the LSPV incorrectly.

I'll bet you installed the air dam in front of them. I'm getting too much wind drag. I probably didn't get them routed in the most aerodynamic fashion.

Maybe it would help if I waxed them.

You forgot to add the cup holder.

Does anyone know if Mr. T still makes preformed hard lines for these pigs? I may have accidentally sortof smashed my rear line against something harder than the brake line....pretty sure its constricting brake fluid to the drivers rear caliper....

Some of the hard lines are still available. Really depends on what you are looking for.

Drivers rear on the axle (fingers crossed.....!)

If not, I'm gonna hafta brush off the old flare tools and waste about 16 feet of tube before getting the perfect flare and forgetting to put the nut on first.... and eventually re-routing the line above the axle instead of behind the suspension bracket so it doesn't get pinched in the future...

Available.
