Brake Hardware Parts Springs Pins question (1 Viewer)

I am trying to figure out what side of the caliper this grasshopper looking spring should go on. This is a Right side caliper in the pic. I have the spring on the trailing edge of the rotor side. Should it go on the leading edge? I have enough springs to do both sides, should i put two on each caliper?

One on each side. They're to push the calipers/pads back so should be balanced.

I personally use 2 per caliper on my 05 LX. No reason

Or is it only needed on the bottom of the caliper to prevent the rotor binding... hmmm?
