Brake caliper/front knuckle thread size help (1 Viewer)

Hello All,
During my front knuckle rebuild I found out the t the P O or mechanic stripped the lower threaded ear for the caliper mount. To add insult to injury, they put in a larger fastener which is stripped as well. That said, I would like to install a time cert to get the threads back to what they should be. Can someone let me know what the diameter and pitch is for the stock fastener? Depending on the size of the present hole, this looks like my best option. I’m a machinist in a past life and have access to a vertical mill so I can get this installed correctly.

Awesome, thanks a ton Spike Strip! Given that this is a critical brake fastener, I’m going to go with time cert.

A lot of people have used the Heli-Coil without issue. I just like the Timesert complete kit. Both use Stainless Steel inserts.
