Brake booster (1 Viewer)

Hey all my Mud Brotha's.
It looks like my brake booster has gone out. I replaced the check valve and also checked my vacuum and all is good. Ordered a replacement booster but I had a light bulb go off.
Would the gasket between the master cylinder and the booster cause a leak?

Nope, not sure that it has any real purpose? Mine doesn't have one, not a problem.

It may slow rust from electrolysis? I may have pulled that from...

The gasket absolutely has a purpose. Toyota doesn't spend time and money installing needless parts on vehicles they build.

The purpose is to keep anything from infiltrating into the booster/master cylinder junction. But, it won't cause a vacuum leak.
