Does anyone know the correct size bleeder screw for a 1970 FJ40? I can't find the answer anywhere and need to replace mine.

We were talking about a different cruiser but I believe your 1970 FJ40 should be the same. (No guarantees though!
)So that would make your bleeder thread M10 x 1.0

Did this get solved? I need bleeders for my 1970. SOR lists the changeover month for 7/70.
Does anyone know the correct size for a 7/70 and earlier? Following the above link makes me believe an M10 x 1.0 won't fit.

Addition: Coolerman's website says that during rebuild, to clean the bleeder threads with a 10mm x 1.25 tap. Is this the data I need to order new bleeders?

I have a 1967 and mine is a 10 mm x 1.25. speed bleeder 639610.
