My 12/70 fj40 is in need of rear brakes. Do I go with the $400 rear disc conversion or drive myself crazy trying to source the four wheel cylinders.

Also, the lip at the top of my stock radiator has a piece missing... Looks like it broke off somehow. Now fluid is blowing everywhere. Is there an oem replacement or a better aluminum one out there.

As always, thanks!

X2 - if you have disks on the front, I would go with the conversion in the rear

I have a mini truck disc conversion on the front. Will I need a different master cylinder? The current is dual circuit with a booster. I bet adjusting will be painful.

So, go with my current oem radiator vs new... what's the average rate on a rebuild?

Thanx!

For the rear disc brakes, get ahold of Poser here on mud. He can set you up with all you need for a lot less money.
