Hi,
Has anyone any tips on installing these?

I need them for mine, believe they go in the upper rear corner and I am thinking 3M weatherstrip adhesive............?

Hi , yes, they go into the upper front corner on each door frame, just wondering do I have to undo the bow section to get them in as they don't seem to fit by just glueing them, they have a slot cut into them with seems to suggest that they slot into a section of the bow ?

I find this particularly interesting Frank because I recall these things being positioned only on the REAR top corners of my door-openings on my BJ40 hardtop.

However this image confirms that they should exist both front AND rear:

And it appears we have 4 different parts: Right-hand side being 65888-90301 and 65888-90302 while the left-hand side has 65889-90301 and 65889-90302

Here's one of them I found in my image collection:

It's news to me that they have "pockets". I always thought mine were just glued on with contact adhesive.

If they have pockets and screw-holes then obviously some hardtop dismantling is in order.

Cheers - Tom
