Couple issues that I'm having!

Shuddering at 2nd and 3rd gear, pretty sure we have that taken care of!
When disengaging clutch it doesn't grab gear until almost to the top of petal, is there an adjustment we can do to correct that?

Here's where the legendary Beagle Chariot now sits until we move it again haha

bleed the clutch slave? i like the silver. never seen one in person, just brown tan or blue up here.

There are a couple of adjustment points for the clutch at the top of the pedal arm. I think the one on the backside adjusts for pedal freeplay. Worth a shot.

Congrats on picking up the Beagle Chariot! I'm not kidding - I was thinking about that rig today and wondered if Dan was still interested in selling:D

My clutch is the same way...unfortunately, I'm pretty sure that means that the adjustment has been utilized to it's full extent. We both will need a clutch before too long.

I'm in the same boat as the two of you, engagement at the top of pedal travel. No issues with slippage, however some slight chatter every once in a while. I've replaced my entire clutch hydraulic system, bled it twice and adjusted everything I could, but to no avail.

i remember when i found that rig for dan. sweet ride, hope you enjoy it!

Bleed the whole tank last night put new fuel filters in it and then put new gas and still cant get it running!

$75 for a rust free good used own tank.

It was smogged before it was parked 2 years ago. Check the timing since they always seem to de-tune them when getting emmission numbers.

Change all of the fluids. The fuel in the tank has been sitting in there for at least 2 years.

Replace the fuel filters. You may have to replace them more than once to get the 2 year old crap out of the tank.

Doublecheck all 58' of vaccum lines. Something may have fallen/rotted off.

It has to be something extremely simple since it ran Great the 1st 40 miles he drove it.

Check the fuel cut-off selonoid at the carburetor.

The clutch is a New Lux clutch.

The new OME shocks are for the rear and are the correct ones for the 3 1/2" Uber heavy duty lift. The old ones on the rear are shot.

the chatter could be caused by a broken engine mount.

Just for reference and info...it turned out that my clutch was fine, I think it had a huge air bubble or something. I took it camping (loaded to the gills since the wife was with) went up into the mountains...parked it for two days...came back...clutch felt super soft...clutch master res. was empty, but no leak from master or slave...refilled the res. and the clutch started engaging earlier in the pedal throw and no chatter...so the only thing I can think is that some blockage or air got worked out and thats where the fluid went. Not very often that a vehicle fixes itself but what it tells me is "make sure it's bled properly"

D'animal, I may not of bought it but........
