Bosal 228-243 Exhaust Pipe (1 Viewer)

For those of you who used the Bosal 228-243, the exhaust from muffler to tail pipe... Did your pipe have a flat spot? I returned the first pipe I ordered from Summit because it had a flat spot. The second pipe was order from a different vendor and was delivered today and has the same flat spot.

The flat spot is supposed to be there. The OEM also has the same flat spot. It is where the exhaust routes over the rear axle.

The bosal unit we had lasted about 2k miles before something let loose inside it. Turns out that the muffler from a late 90s v8 Dakota fits great, just gotta use the hot glue gun to mount it.
