Got bored, had a drink, made a few things out of stuff that was laying around. Feel free to share yours ...

Drink : Texas Silver Star Vodka
Item : ashtray
Materials : 80 series birfield and 1.75'' tubing
Details : drank vodka, looked over and saw birfield sitting in corner, put birfield in bandsaw and cut off the shaft, flushed it out with a flap wheel, insert pipe and tack in place, insert cigar, take picture

Drink : more Texas Star Vodka
Item : Discada
Materials : discarded plow disc I found in a barn 19'' diameter, 1/4'' piece of scrap
Details : cleaned up the weld area with the flap disc, inserted 1/4'' patch, welded up all gaps, lots more flap disc, then hit it with the wire wheel. This ones going off to the sand blaster to get all the rust out of it. Once I know what burner i'm going to use I can build a stand for it. Should make a decent camp wok.

You should chamfer (sp?) those edges were the bearings sat so the cigars have a nice holder to sit in... By the way, what cigar was that?

That's actually a very good idea, except I don't have the right machines to make that look nice. I believe the cigar was a Rocky Patel 2nd
