Having, two fridge/freezers, two ovens, two stoves, a Scottle, a BBQ and a Yetti full of beer will give us the ability to have a pretty posh menu!I'm always interested to know what others are packing for meals on trips. Backpacking and bicycle touring require tons of calories, but everything needs to be shelf stable and light. Living out of the back of a Subaru when I was doing a lot of rock climbing in college, the priority was low cost to offset my beer budget. Road trips with my wife tend to be sandwiches with nice bread, cheese, and sliced meats for lunches, breakfast and dinner tend to be at places she finds along the route. Menu planning is probably the next step of planning for my Magruder Corridor trip this year.
Bud we are SOOOO ready to roll! 104 hrs and 25 minutes to departure!I checked out the boys progress on Sunday and they are really looking ready to roll!
So fun fellas, have a blast. Wished I was going.
