Hey guys....as yall know I"m new to this "Lancruiser Society" and I'm trying to fix it up as much as I can on my own.....its like its a right of passage....anyhow...I've got rust on the rear fenders as many of you have or had. I cannot afford buying new fenders and do it right......how can I remedy this problem? First I know I need to address the rust issue, then fill the rust holes. Can I do this with bondo? Has anyone used this POR-15 stuff? Is there a website that I can refer to? THanks

To do it "right" you need to weld in new steel. Bondo is a stop gap measure and not worth doing. POR-15/ZeroRust/RustBullet are all similar and seem to work if you properly prepare the surface.
