Body weight (1 Viewer)

[60/40GUY]

Anybody have an idea what a FJ60 body would weigh. Just the body minus the glass, doors, hatch and interior. I'm takin' the body off and need to know what I'm up againt. I've seen a couple of guy on mud lift a body off with a fork truck. Anyone have a scale on that fork truck?

my guess would be 2000 pounds or right close

2000 for the body!!! I would have though max 500 pounds probably a lot less then that.

I doubt it's that much (2000lbs). If the body is stripped and gutted my guess is that four guys could lift it off.

You could also use an engine hoist through the back. Run a strap around the bottom the rear side doors and just lift it off.
