Body hinge cushion material (1 Viewer)

I am about to have a newly painted truck to reassemble...very exciting. I am however, concerned about hanging the front doors, ambulance doors and spare tire carrier on the tub without having some sort of gasket in place between hinges and tub.

What are folks using? I have successfully used conveyor belt in the past for the front bib hinge.

Anything water proof is good. Just don't go too thick or you might have some fitment issues. Years ago I had some thin epdm rubber i used. I think it was 1/16".

There's a guy on eBay under the user name Kenootski that sells hinge pads etc...

I think you can just enter "FJ40" gaskets is eBay's search engine and pull it up.
