Yeah Koyo is fine. Just pissed Inpais $100 for a Toyota and it is sitting in the sidelines.

What did you use for the pilot bearing? OEM? I had a non-OEM fail once that led to dropping the tranny so now only use a good quality pilot bearing.

Pilot or TO ? Koyo is a good bearing..

Throwout bearing. Sorry. Koyo is good.

Bolting it up now. Cam is about to start wiring the TBI. I’m under bolting it all in.

Looking good boys! Can't wait for the first fire-up vid! No AC Compressor on there or was that one of the items deemed "in the way" when attempting to put into the bay?

Yeah. Sure wish we had put on in the garage. We are struggling with it.

I left all the AC stuff in the truck and hooked up. It should be fully charged and functional when it’s all back together.

You know the return fee...

I had the lower valance painted and the hood. Of course they are not even close to the faded Medium Blue so I’ll likely have to paint the rest of the 60 soon.

I mocked up the passenger side modded air cleaner from
@under_psi and it’s perfect for my snorkel

Did you know the 60 glove box is made of paper? WTF?

This bloody bandage tells the tale. There is no way I could have done all this without my buddy @pmccraney who sweated and bled for me today

It literally took me longer to put the 7 screws into the transmission and transfer Case boots than it did for us to install the drivetrain.

What a s*** job.

Meanwhile @FJ60Cam continues to wire. God bless him.

You guys are jammin'. Very cool.

Great work. How far away is the start up?

@FJ60Cam worked on late after I called it quits last night. He had to get on the road this morning so he wanted to get the wiring sorted as best he could.

The glovebox is now mostly gorilla tape so essentially it’s 100 times stronger than the cardboard. It’s a nice spot and everything I kept in there before still fits.

The wire hanging out is the OBD1 port for checking codes

This is where the wires are going into the firewall. I need a big grommet for this

Cam left me this and hit the road back to Memphis.

Sad question actually. Turns out the housing where the fuel line goes into the TBI is broken. The unit will have to be sent back to them for repair.

Looks like a bad cast.

I still have a few things to do, mainly fluid related

Install the battery, bumper. Skidplate. Hood.

Not much. Had the TbI not broken it would be a victory lap instead
