The U.S. Bureau of Land Management has opened the nomination process to fill several positions on the newly established Rio Puerco management committee. As a land management agency with a multiple-use mission, the BLM is seeking diverse input from citizens who care about the stewardship of America's public lands.
Individuals may nominate themselves or others to serve on the committee. Nominees will be reviewed on the basis of their affiliation, interest, education and/or knowledge of the Rio Puerco Drainage Basin. Nominations must include letter(s) of reference, a completed application and any other information that speaks to the nominee's qualifications. The application form can be downloaded at www.blm.gov/get-involved/resource-advisory-council/near-you/New-Mexico. The BLM will consider nominations received through July 8, 2020.
