Hi all,

I just lost function of my cruise control (1999 year model 100 series) Monday and my cruise control light blinks now. Nothing else has failed and brake lights still work, so I assume brake pedal switch works. No codes on PCM, and no indications anything else is wrong.

My searches haven't turned up much and I'm afraid a dealer visit will be very pricy so I want to completely exhaust all attempts to diagnose it myself before taking it in.

If anyone has any advice or experience please let me know.

Thanks!

I had that issue, FSM pointed to the VSS on the t-case, tried a known good one, didn't work. Ended up being a single pin in the dash cluster that hadn't fully seated after it had been out to replace a bulb.
That's a possibility! I had the cluster out recently to change some bulbs!
