Black Powder Coating wheels or not? (1 Viewer)

??? What do you think about powdercoating wheels? Good or Lousy alternative. Im thinking of getting it done to my stock wheels for my FJ62. Although Im not sure where and how much it it to do?

It would probably be cheaper to buy some black rockcrawlers. At $35-$40 a piece, probably cheaper then having yours prepped and painted.

my Allied beadlocks are black powder and are holding up great after 6 months...real test will be after this winter and a couple snow rides...

IMO, if they hadn't come that way, I'd have preferred painted...easier to touch up, and the lock-rings are trashed from the use.
