So I was shopping around for a new rack system for my 2001 Lx470 and the only rack system I can get for a good price locally is Prisnu and Uptop. I went to check the mounting locations under the gutter covers to see if the mounting points are identical between the LC and the LX (Some have mentioned I have to drill holes or make minor modifications.)
Anyways, I went to check the roof and I found this! Ouch! I’m gonna have fun getting these bad boys cleaned up. Any recommendations on fitting LC racks on the LX and removing the crusty hardware from the roof?
