BJ74 PTO winch rated pull strength?

Hey guys, looking for some input here, I seem t be getting conflicting info from various sources.

On an 89 BJ74 what would the rated load of the Factory PTO winch be, Or rather at what point would one imagine things would start to brake? Iv heard from 6000-10000 lbs...


Also was more than one Toyota shear pin available? Was there a difference in braking point?
Shear pin part # 90240-05004 best thing to get?

8000lb is the number I've heard.

I just use a cut down 4" bright flathead nail for a shear pin.
