My friends truck seems to have a leak inside the clutch assist.

Anyone had this problem before?

I assume you are talking about the clutch booster?
Two thoughts: Sometimes they leak around the rim, where the drum goes onto the bottom-there is a thick rubber there. grease or red gasket sealer might help, but you need to pull it apart.
To pull it apart you need to get it out, otherwise you'll have a hell of a time aligning everything when putting it back together.
Second, the diaphragm inside could be shot. There exists a rebuilt kit from toyota that includes that.

A BJ60 customer had the same problem last week
he replaced it with one off our latest JDM parts Cruiser (66,000KM)
now it's better then before. He must have had a small leak for a while before it totally crapped out

I have a core shelf full of duds, they're all leaking at the seal where the shaft comes thru to the master.

Thanks, I will chat with him later this week and see if he resolved this problem.

Hes off fighting fires in a egg beater.
