Hey folks,

I've searched around and can't find any answers about this. Since I have my radiator getting re-cored, I have been trying to clean up the engine bay in my LHD 1985 BJ73. While I was in there, I noticed a cut in my power steering hose. It isn't leaking, yet. Before I take the whole thing off, I'm wondering what my options are. It seems like an FJ62 line is similarly plumbed, but I don't know. There is a pressure feed line assembly on Megazip (part number 44410-60091), but I can't tell if it will fit. And it's $677. I would appreciate any ideas!

If all else fails, a competent hydraulic shop should be able to cut the old hose off the hard lines and crimp a new one on.

That’s kind of what I was thinking. I’ll have to search around and see if anybody in Butte can do it.
