Hey guys
got an 86 bj73 with the b3. Was having cooling system issues. REmoved head. Looks like head gasket is bad. Was getting exhaust in cooling system.
My questions is. Is there a better gasket to use other than OEM gasket that came on the 3b. With the turbo added i was thinking a metal gasket would be better than the soft one currently on there.
What items should i have the machine shop look for as far as issues on the head? What parts do you think i should go ahead and replace with it being out.
Where do i source any of the parts? Megazip? Others?
Any and all help and advice/suggestions is greatly appreciated.
