I searched when I went to napa. They did not have the part number, and they had something listed. I got chicken. So I ordered mine from Toyota.

I just got it in. My feeling is the first one lasted 20 yrs. I'm sure its stock. SO I ordered upper and lower, with a new thermostat and gasket.

the hoses are around 75 bucks each.

You can try 4wheel auto. But I wanted OEM.

Napa lists one of the hoses as a flex hose. I am not having one of them.

I know I'm a bit late, but a mid to late 80's 5.0l F150 rad hose works and costs around $22, the only thing you have to do is cut off 2" off of one end of the hose. Replaced the lower hose on my 83 BJ60 a few years ago and it was a perfect fit.

Somewhere on MUD there is a thread that has a part number for this hose, I posted it a LONG time ago.

Cheers,

Adam

Here's Adam's part number:

The part is a rad hose (assume it is lower) from a 1987 Ford F150 with a 302
(5.0 litre) engine. The Part Source part number is 14-2536-2.

I have not used this one yet.

I used one on my old 60 that has lasted at least 8 years, off the shelf at the local mechanic, and it was indeed in the twenty dollar range and physically identical in construction to the old hose. Not sure about the part number but paying $75 for the same with the Toyota Stamp of Approval, I don't think so, these guys are rich enough as it is.

Do yourself a favour, take it off and go to the parts store with it, you'd be surprised and you'll certainly save money.
