I have a 1980 BJ40 with a 3b from an '85 BJ70, after asking 3 people, and getting 3 different opinions, I once again will go to the masses with an obvious question...I want to add power steering, what is the best way, on a budget to do it? Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.

You have lots of options, look on this forum {SEARCH] TWo basic are saginaw steering box and pump, better if you go to big tires and off road. 80- 85 toyota p/u 4wd steering dox and new pedestal mount saginaw or toyota power steering box , easier and cheeper, better for on road lighter duty use.
