It was an interesting day to say the least. I went to pick up my son from school and it was a good thing I did not pick him yet because as I was driving down a main road, a car darted out from a side street from my right. I tried to maneuver to go around her and she clipped my rear wheel and there I went, hit the curb and landed on my left side. I was always wondering about short wheelbase and higher center of gravity issues. Thank God that I was in a RHD in this situation and my son would have been on the left hand side. I undid my seatbelt and popped up my door and climbed out and not a scratch. The other driver was fine and now the fun will begin with ICBC insurance. There will be the usual questions who's fault and will it be a write off? Now how will I do I get them not to use the blue book value of a rusty domestic cruiser? Anyone been there before?
