Does anybody know if you can install A/C into a BJ 70 series canadian spec unit, and where would you get the parts?

Is your 12 or 24v?
There is a company that makes aftermarket ac for any vehicle - doesnt need to bolt under the dash.
It's a simple system, compressor (you build bracket), you make lines to fit, mount evapo case in truck somewhere, hook up one power cable and mount the condensor in front of your rad.
I'll see if I can find the company name. The sell to industrial type companies for machinery and mining industry.

JayAir might distribute in USA/Canada somewhere, if so they have a full kit to suit the car specifically for $1100 AUD.

I live in Texas and don't have it either. Grow a set.
In all seriousness, it has been covered before. IF you can find the parts, it'll be about 3 grand. There is another guy in Austin who is from Colombia. He is awaiting the evaporator from someone there, then is going to install it. Anxious to see how it turns out, so I can do mine. Will post pics of it upon completion
