Looking for good used Birfields from 79-84. I think I have that right. Converting a 71 to disc brakes and George E said to buy used late model Birfs and then buy new Aisin hubs to match. Let me know if I have this right and if you have anything. Thanks for the help. Located in Atlanta, GA

any from 79-90 will work, FJ40, 60, 62 series also mini truck 1979-85 all will have the same birf
spindles, knuckles and hubs will also be the same thru that year range

70 series also I think but that would be harder to find in the US

Thank you for clarifying, that is exactly what George said but I didn’t take notes. So hopefully someone in the 60 community will have some. I wonder if the mini trucks are available to part out in Junk yards or are they all long gone.
