birf repack..... where to get rid of degreaser? (1 Viewer)

Over the xmas break Im going to repack my birfs.

Probably going to use diesel or varsol to degrease and want to be environmentally friendly.....Question is where can I dump the remnants from the degreasing process?

Can I dump this stuff in the oil tanks at Autozone?

As RHINO said, just collect it all in your used oil pan. Drop it off at the local drop. The used oil is used mostly in asphalt for the heavy stuff, and industrial boilers fopr the light stuff which will burn damn near anything, a little more distillates the better for them.

DUH! I put it, along with all of my recycled oil, in my city recycling barrel. You know... the blue one. They come and get it on Wednesdays.
