Blew a birf last night in my wagon and my spare from a buddies truck has heat marks on the shell of the birf where every ball rides. Does that make it no good? Have you seen that before? Is it even worth putting in?

Thanks,

without seen it seems to be a not idea birf to run .. but in a emergency that it's better than nothing .. I would not run it in a long term ..

When I bought new birfs, they had those heat marks.

Most have the heat marks, even new ones have them

oh ok. Sounds like good news.

Normal heat treat marks.
