I am going to be getting the Bilstein 5165 for the rear of my '97 Tacoma 4wd. I already have the Bilstein 6112 to install on the front. They will be replacing the 5100/5125 that are on it. I don not know what the valving is of the 5125. The truck is pretty much stock except for the 2.5" lift front and rear. I am thinking of getting the 2550 rebound and 700 compression valving. Does anybody know if this sounds like it more be right?

I don't have a clue either but would like to know. I put a set of 5100s for a Tundra on my Tacoma and they looked the same except for the mounting eye was a lot beefier on the Tundra struts. I put some Bilsteins in the back for a Jeep or something just because they were the right length. I had to swap shock eye bushings for them to fit.

As for valving...?
