I just registered today (actually early bday present from my wife) for the Sept 22 & 23 Tillamook, Oregon event, it would be fun to have at least one other TLCA SSC member there too, any takers? As of this evening there was space for three more vehicles.

General description of On the Road...
These 2-day training events are geared toward beginner to moderate skill levels,
but experienced skill levels will also learn more than they thought possible as
well as increase awareness. Emphasis is on safety. Courses include vehicle
preparation, negotiating the terrain, picking a proper line, map and compass,
recovery techniques using Hi-Lift jack, winch, and other tools, vehicle
preparation and back country awareness. Included is both theory and
hands-on driving techniques. Many handouts are included.

I'll keep working on it, maybe I can have the weekend to my self, I can just sleep in the back of the FJ right? Prove everybody wrong, you can sleep in the back, it will probably be really uncomfortable with the jack and stuff back there, but hay, I could make it work...
