I was wondering why no posts from you lately (at least in the hundy section):). Intead of typing you have been busy designing and fabbing. Can't wait to read more about it!

You also still need to re-adjust your turn stops so the tires don't hit the upper arms at full turn.

By the way....do 35's clear a stock front bumper with or without lift?

Or run front wheel spacers

I didnt think it was neccasary to re state the obvious, but, you went and did it anyway, i think you have now made that point pretty clear......

As for a stock front bumper, never fitted anything to a 100 with a stock front bumper, so cant answer that one, but Im sure we are all about to find out :rolleyes: maybe you could get them to add that question to trivial pursuit....

been very busy, developing alot of stuff, and had a build on a 04 tj to finish for a big trip, with nissan patrol diffs and brakes, 12" fox coil overs, stretched wheelbase, toys by troy long arm kit etc, which took alot of time, as well as the 100 new bash plates, and coil overs, and our Fox shox bolt on kits for patrol and 80/105 cruiser, with our new long travel spring design for 3" lift and 12" stroke shox, along with the everyday stuff we have going on this year.

Thanks for posting that. Many of the above are obvious to some but not to others.





Back to Noahs question: Personally I wouldn't go with the 35's. I doubt if they'd go too far without rubbing. You probably don't want to buy a new set of tires and have them F-ed up in a very short period of time.

I had Nitto TG's 32.99/12.83 put on my truck mounted on after market wheels. My front fender lip ended up cutting both of my front tires. Not bad but did slice the outside tread a bit.

My $.02 I'd go with 33's and stay relatively narrow on factory wheels. (Until you get your lift)

I am about to score a set of used Bridgestone Revo A/Ts this Friday! Wheee!!!

I use the phrase "about to" because I haven't actually seen and paid for them yet. But I hope all goes well.

They are size 285/75 LT 16 . The seller says he's put about 3K miles on them. If all goes well, I'm swapping the current H/T tires off my stock rims with these meats.

Shotts, I know you're a huge advocate of adjusting the bump stops to prevent rubbing. In your opinion, do you think I can get away from it with this size tire? And if it does rub and I need to adjust, is it as easy as turning the wrench, or are there lock nuts or castle nuts to deal with?

NO NO.....NO bump stop adjusting on 33" tires. You are good to go. Now, if you want to increase performance and flex like mad....add an OME N74L rear shock (if your 100 is lifted) and a 1" bump stop spacer to protect shock.
 
Oh stop making me drool, man! Yeah maybe in the future.
I own a :princess: LX470, and the AHC is still working fine.

I just sold my chassis and we are starting on a new one. I needed to get some help dismounting the wheel for the beadlock install.
