Exactly!
Not sure about BS. Will measure in the morning. Only fix a spacer at this point?
(I gotta laugh at this cuz it's something I woulda done on my heep(first build ever)!! ;)

Wheel spacers are the cheapest fix... New wheels would be the other, worst case scenario... :crybaby:

Hopefully, the PO was just going for that extreme extra 1/2" wide stance look...... CHEAP @$!.... I hope the BS is good Finny.

I'm not sure.... :/
I think I recall the fit being pretty darn close to the caliper as I was taking them off. I even thought to myself, wow what good/close fit! :bang:

Hey Finny, To bring up a past post. Where did you get your vacuum hose? I have seen guys post up McMaster-Carr for the silicone based hose. In BLUE of course for me..

Let me know..

J

Let me check in a bit for you, it was one of the suppliers in the vac line thread but it was a .com. I have some blue I'm not gonna use, not sure how much or the dia, I will advise. (I think I'm gonna go with all red instead of rainbow

Boostcontroller.com and I have 15' of 3mm left over

Well, baby steps right!? Nothing like doing a 10-12 hr project in 2 hr chunks before and after work...
Got the front spring hangers off this morning and cleaned up a little.

Who wants some beer and Front knuckle rebuild? anyone??

For off work early today and mashed out a couple hours. Got the new front spring hangers mocked up for welding tomorrow (I know I still need to clean up the metal). Anyone think the gap is too big between SR hanger and the frame? I figure a few passes and a BFH will work...

So, as you can see I moved the hanger as far back as possible and up against the body mount. I even trimmed a lil bit (1/2 in) off so it would slide back even farther.. I could even take more off due to the mounting plate being extra large to accommodate the 55 mounting holes, but not sure if that would make Swiss cheese of the frame or I could re-line up some of the holes. I'll look tomorrow. Goal being good shackle angle: going off of the same vehicle with same kit that I know has straight up and down shackles, my adjustments yielded 2 inches of rearward positioning of the SR hanger, which should get me at least a little better, if not pretty close to ideal shackle angle... We'll see tomorrow (my first day off out of the last 8!!!)!!!

Okie dokie... Not sure who all out there still reads this, but I FINALLY 'finished' installing my new-to-me suspension!!! I had weds/thurs off and knocked it out while also repairing my welder and spending a few hours to teach myself (practicing what Welding-One-Kanobi was telling me what/how to do)!

Without any further adieu, I present the new Mrs. Betsy Ross to you:

Thx bro!

I should mention I stayed at 2500 rpms the whole way!!! Took some serious discipline, but worth it. Georg had just advised me that sustained rpms over 2500 are no bueno for 2Fs so in trying to stick to that!

She's a looker! Great work man, shackle angles look very nice.

Thanks!!

J- I tried the wheels without then and they are def for spacing due to rotor rub, major rub, like sane lazy bastid just didn't want to reorder they correct wheels!
