What does everyone recommend here for my 62. My wiring harness will come with relays for duel electric and a 160 amp alternator.

I’m still on the fence for electric vs mechanical. It doesn’t look like GM ever put factory mechanical on a 6.2 that I can find.

Any advantage going with a Ron Davis radiator vs other?

TIA!!

I'd have no issues using an electric fan. It's not like you are adding complexity to your cruiser with the fan alone, the whole engine is electronic. So no biggie.

I'd just ensure all connections etc are as waterproof as they can be.

I even have contemplated putting an electric fan on my 3B diesel. Mainly to free up some HP and space.

You can thread a mechanical fan mount on (most) replacement water pumps for the 6.2.
I'll be using a mechanical fan on my swap, space depending. Generally they flow much more cfm and no wiring.
It's been done a few times. Check out the V8 thread in the 80-series forum.
