In the future I think I'd might lift my 45, not much 2 to 4 inches. Spring over looks easy but I don't see many done this way. Your thoughts.
 
"looks easy" and "done right" are two different things. with a lot of thought and some fabrication, they're not bad, but you need to consider if that's what you need for the type of wheeling you plan on doing.
 
SOA is like 5-6 inches of lift at least, what size tires do you plan on running? What kind of 45 is it?
 
I run a 2.5 in spring lift from an FJ40 on the front and two add a leafs [one long, one short] for each side in the rear. Seems to ride OK.

After I do the 4 speed conversion and the power steering, I will prolly move up one tire size and go to 4" FJ40 springs in the front, with a pair of custom made Alcans for the rear.
