These names bro.

Dissent, filthy, total chaos, tough dog, iron man. All sound like a biker gang.

Yeah good choice I run ironmans

SPC sounds like the higher end choice with huge adjustability but unless you trying to really lift your rig more then 3.5-4” then you don’t even utilize those benefits. Plus lots of stories of shops not knowing how to work on the SPC’s and needs special hard ware if they break.

And if you traveling int rural or middle of nowhere. I want hardware on my car that can be fixed regardless of where I am and be worked on by a non 4x4 specialist but yet competent mechanic if I need. That is one of the beauties of the LC is you can be anywhere in the world and have it repaired to get you home.

So you have had good expereince with the ironman UCAs? I liked them because they are not overkill for my purposes (slightly lifted truck, 99% spent on road).

I would say that the correct alignment (as facilitated by a UCA that permits adjustment beyond the range of stock when needed) is the key component. I have SPCs, but you are selecting from a good list and the Ironman's should work out well. I had my truck aligned by a well-known shop that you would think knows what they are doing. They showed me the alignment spec and that it was within the defined parameters, but it still did not drive like I expected (which is to say as close to stock as possible). - Mine is lifted 2" with Dobinson IMS - I took it to another shop a little further afield, who said the first shop didn't do it wrong, they just didn't take the steps to make it perfect. Looking at the old alignment pen marks on the LCA cam-bolt heads and on others, their positions in the new alignment are vastly different. I was surprised how much better the return to center, staying straight on crested roads, and feedback through the wheel could change with a different alignment. The first one wasn't bad, it just wasn't what I had hoped for.

yes

Installed myself and was easy

only things that was tough was getting the thru bolt torqued to spec so just went about as tight as I could
Also be sure you double check the orientation of the washers before installing or you'll be yelling the F word at 1AM after you put everything back together
mine came with 2 different castle nuts. I just used my old ones

I haven't done hard core offroading but I don't plan to
My car is probably 98% road

my car was lifted about 2.5-3" when all said and done with F/R FCP shocks and springs and UCA and panhard and U/L Trailing arms and firestone rear Airbags.
Alignment at a LC shop was super straightforward and completely in spec

I think there are some awesome products out there like SPC and Total Chaos and ICON and OME each with it's pros and cons
I wanted simple, easy, not too pricey and work for a LC that will do some light trails and tow my smaller trailer
