I've searched the forums and either my search terms are not articulate enough or this topic is buried somewhere.

I'm going to mount a few items (power inverter, some plugs, outlets) in the rear of my truck, most likely to the plastic side panels. Anyone have suggestions on what screws, bolts/nuts are best for these applications? I'd rather not botch it up through my typical trial and error style, and I know a bunch of members have slick interior builds with a bunch of tricks (i.e. Luke111).

Any advice would be appreciated, or links to the threads I could not find.

If you're popping the panel loose to mount these items then toggle bolts might be a good option. Sometimes they work better in places where a fender washer won't fit.

Thank you 73Guppie and txgringo, that's what I was looking for. Will try to post pics when I'm done.

Have a good weekend
