My favorite = One Word:
Def Beastie Boys Sabotage... haven't seen it in years though.
That's always been my #1.
I'm getting to where I have to stop on rap videos now...there's just too much delicious booty to pass on. I heart my mute button though...
Do artists still make video's? If video killed the radio star, then reality killed the video star.
I've seen a few descent videos recently, mostly half nekid chicks...but as far as a cool video, I like Gun & Roses November Rain, some of the Metallica ones are kinda cool/wierd, and Tool's stuff is just wierd...Marilyn Manson videos make me sit and think WTF is going on in his brain...
Metallica's Whiskey in the Jar
Presidents of the United States Peaches
Foo Fighters Everlong
those are a few that come to ming
The entire metallica S&M concert, 2 disk DVD.
Yo Yo YO I heard dat
I watch Breaking Benjamins' So Cold all the time on Launch. It's pretty kick ass.
Breaking Benjamin is awesome I haven't seen any of their music videos though.
Simply Irresistible. Robert Palmer (IIRC). First video I remember being dumbfounded over.
Was going to say the same thing. Spike Jonze
Alright - this is going to be mega
However, when I think of the 80's and the hay days of MTV the video that instantly jumps to mind is A-ha - Take on Me. You know - the one that looks like a comic book. Ground breaking technology and visually captivating for the time.
All the rump bumping & booty shaking these days is just the eye candy coating on the dogg turd of music. Guess that's why the mute button was created.
That new Jessica Simpson video (these boots) is nice to watch but I can't stand to listen to it, my gf actually showed it too me on the computer. lol
Green day's American Idiot is awesome along with pretty much their entire new album.
Three day's grace, I could be just like you kicks arse.
Any old Offspring
The list goes on and on.
As far as chicks, I like 50 Cent's Candy Shop...chick pouring chocolate all over her...nice!
weezer's "buddy holly" video is a good one too...another spike jonze.
Rock the cradle of love
Underneath It All
I've got a Spike Jonze DVD that has all the music videos he's ever done, some of which include Sabotage, Buddy Holly, Wax's Southern California (slow motion of dude running on fire), Breeder's Cannonball, and a few cool Fatboy Slim ones.
Best video ever to me is Bow Wow Wow's "I want candy". Ya so I was a young one then and pretty much was in aaahhhhhh over Annabella Lwin!!! Mater of fact, I just met her 7 months ago and droooolllleeeeeedddddddddd all over myself the whole time I was standing next to her. Damn she is fine! Chans
i don't know if any of you watch Family Guy but there was an episode a few weeks ago where Chris got pulled into the A-Ha "take on me" video. it was great
