Any recommendation on best and/or least expensive places to order parts and accessories for TLCs from, through mail order or Web?
(of course, besides our best buddies CDan and Slee, that is...)

Performance Products sells mostly mall cruiser accessories at astronomical prices. Toyotas are just one of their product lines which also include Porsche and Mercedes.

Performance products had the cheapest price on my Borla exhaust! I also got a set of those amorphic side rear view mirrors. Now that I'm used to them I love em!

For none stock, good sheet:

Best place = Slee
Least expensive = Slee

I say Slee is also the least expensive, because you have to figure everything in. Christo and Robbie (and some with Ben) have spent countless hours with me on the phone. Yes, they do this because they enjoy it and are friends, but I'm also a customer. I was gonna type a long winded response, but I'm posting using my new wifi pda :flipoff2:, so I won't.

I like to work on the 'Buy everything one place and build a relationship so the supplier understands your needs"

rather than a

"buy the cheapest price regardless no one really wants to help when it wont work because Im an opportunist" type arrangement.

If you have members who you can support, who dont self promote every chance they get, then they should be who you use, just to keep them as a member for all the newbies and others who can do with some advise from time to time.

Remember why you got a 80 or 100 to start with, it wasnt because you bought what was cheapest, it was because you bought what you wanted.

No, you're right, but that's why most of the forum has spent some quality time w/ Cruisin's momma. :flipoff2: :D

You're spot on with the relationship thing though. Then again, some vendors, like the above mentioned, seem to go out of their way for everyone. Not just their clients, but anyone who needs info or help.

Gee, just imagine the service folks would get from me if I ran a shop. :D :D You want what when? Fawk off. What's yer bank account info, and shaddup, you'll get it when I feel like it. :flipoff2:
