Best AC for FJ40 with SBC. (1 Viewer)

What's the best AC to retrofit into a 76 fj40, with an SBC? I live in texas, so hella cold in 110deg heat is definitley a critera.

Why is it the best?

I know there are a bunch of under dash options, I'm sure some fit better than others.

I'm no expert, but first figure out if you want to mount an OEM (chevy) A/C compressor or an after market that comes with a "complete" kit. I have a Vortec with factory (R4?) compressor mount (and a beater compressor I may or may not use) that I am now installing. I wanted to use the factory cast aluminum mount that is already on my engine. Some will work with OEM compressor, some not. Lots of choices, "best" in forums is like picking a consensus of "favorite" color. LOL
