Seeing as how GTP are worth more than gold these days just wondering what other vents have been succesfuly installed without disturbing the hood braces. I have searched but don't see tons of results.....unless I'm not using good search terms. Any pics would be most appreciated.

^ Good info on the linked website.

I got some off a Le Sabre (IIRC) at a PnP some time ago. It looks like they will fit, but they are big. Eyeballing 6" by 12" or so. Have had too many other things going on to measure. That and am hoping for smaller ones eventually.

Yeah I think that would be the best thing is wander through a pick n pull and see what jump out.

I've seed 100 series D Piller vents that looked quite nice in an 80 hood.

I have a set of 60 series rear vents I plan on using for the hood when I get the nerve to start cutting. It stays Toyota and they are louvered with gaskets.

1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9L louvered vents fit without cutting out the hood braces.

Can you snap a pic when you have a free minute?

Those are definitely sweet, but if I'm not mistaken (and I may be), that is one of the RAREST Grand Cherokee engines Chrysler ever made. I believe it is the largest V8 made available in that model and was only an option for that ONE year ( 1998). So...finding such an animal might prove a little difficult.

RAREST.....that just means gold prices again. If I have any Heep questions I know where to turn :flipoff2:

Here is a pic of the 60 series rear vents...if you want to keep it Toyota. Great, now watch the price of these go sky high. Probably should have had 25 pair on hand and sell at a premium. ;p
