Finally got to taking this apart last night. On my 06 model, that panel is 1 big piece. Here are some photos of what's behind it.

Hey just putting this out there on the cup holder for 04 LX470.
I had to move some wires on drivers side (cut the plastic holding strap) move them below the metal bracket to get it to go down.
Also had to loosen the console. It seems with the real wood veiner trim the console is about an 1/8 longer (than my 99) so the reason I loosened my console.
The back also sits below the lip where on 99 it sits flush. Install time was much longer due to learning curve.
Still one of the best mods to date for these trucks. Thanks so much @BenCC....

Is this another version of the fog light replacement bracket ? This looks great! I would love some more info on this.
Yea, maybe I'm confused. I ordered it from BH3D printing. Maybe the similarity of the name is getting to me. My bad!

I am thinking about buying Ben's cupholders for a 2001 LX.
1.) I wanted to see what everyone thought about them?
2.) What about the coasters?
3.) Are the coasters made out of plastic or rubber? The reason I am asking I have a high powered Sound Quality stereo system and I can't stand vibrations. With the OEM setup with the butterfly holders, I sometimes get vibrations by cups in the cupholders on bass heavy music.
The cost isn't really a concern compared to the vibrations.

I have in my 99LC and 04LX.
I have non butterfly version and to me perfect for what I wanted. I hate the butterfly so it was a no brainer for me.
I got the inserts in both of mine and by far the best mod I have done. No more loose cups

Either way, I’m in for these. I’m over the stock fog lights. Can’t wait to see the final product!

Got my ScanGaugeII upper console mount early last week along with the M27 mic adapter for one of the switch ports. Had a quick minute after running around yesterday to play with it and got the mount installed. ScanGauge is coming as my Christmas present to myself so that will be here in a week...

Is there any difference in the butterfly vs non butterfly version (other than the butterfly)? I was just wondering if the non butterfly is deeper or bigger?

There is not the ridge to hold the butterfly in but other than that I don't think so

Someone asked me to convert the panel to a power distribution terminal. It only works if you have removed the factory sub. Here are a few sketches. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks. Also I am thinking to use this modular desgin on the ashtray replacement.
I wanted to make a modular design so the panel could be configurated for different needs. On the bottom left corner, it is a 4-hole AMPS pattern (What is the 4-Hole AMPS Pattern? - https://motogps.com.au/blog/what-is-the-4hole-amps-pattern/).
Four types of modules. Curretly I have modules for 12V socket/USB, 120V socket, fuses, switches.
