Bought a Pro tools MB 150HD bender from trick tools: Pro-Tools MB-105HD Heavy Duty Manual Tube Bender, Round Tubing, Pipe and Square - https://www.trick-tools.com/Pro_Tools_MB_105HD_Heavy_Duty_Manual_Tubing_Bender_MB_105HD_5142 and a 1 3/4 inch die.

I was pretty sad to discover that it's not rated to bend DOM tubing, instead, you need the hydraulic one. So I purchased SWAG offroad's hydraulic kit: SWAG Formed Tubing Bender Air/Hydraulic Ram Mount - https://www.swagoffroad.com/products/swag-formed-tubing-bender-air-hydraulic-ram-mount and an 8 ton ram jack: https://www.northerntool.com/shop/t...6dgNz1eK05xUUP_jXkBoCYioQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

The question is, now that I have 8 tons of jack pressure, is it safe to bend 1 3/4 DOM tubing with this setup?

Thanks in advance

I just took a brief look at the link you provided. It looks like the same basic bender with hydraulic added just like you're doing with the SWAG kit. If you're concerned maybe contact Pro tools customer service.

I did exactly what you're doing and added a SWAG hydraulic kit to my JD2 bender. Works great. Better than having to bolt it to my garage floor. I don't have the space.
