Completed ex-fire truck conversion. The TL;DR basics are 1995 HZJ75 four door with a custom Ute trayback. ~13,000kms

Has a 2" Dobinsons Heavy Duty Suspension package including new leaf springs, shocks and anti-inversion shackles. In addition all the steering components have also been rebuilt along with a Dobinsons Steering Damper. BFG KM3 Mud Terrains 255/85R16 are fitted over new steel rims. Tires have less than 500 miles on them.
The timing belt, accessory belts, fuel filter, oil/filter were also replaced.
Coolant was flushed and a heavy duty aluminum radiator was fitted - I forget the brand. New OEM visors!

The tray was custom fabricated here locally in Bend and is powder coated to a hammered black finish. L Track is installed on the front wall and sides of the tray for easy tie down points. In addition the back and top braces are completely removable to convert the rear to a true flat bed style.

No rust. Have receipts for all work done.

$40,000 firm

I will preface this by saying I'm not a potential buyer, but could you perhaps elaborate on the above statement for other buyers?
- what sort of fuel tank did you fit (size, location, etc.)
- did you close the former PTO water pump access under the rear seat
- did you reroute all cooling
- did you add power steering
- is there A/C

I think for a lot of people "completed" would mean the above, and perhaps for some a repaint as well.

GLWS!

-Fuel tank: There is a 25 gallon aluminum fuel tank behind the rear differential. Custom mounts were fabricated. The factory guts were transferred to the new tank so the fuel gauge works as it should.

-Pump PTO access point is still there. Sound deadening was added, rubber gasket and dual lock Velcro is there so it’s quiet. Was going to ad in a PTO generator or large air compressor there.

-Original fire truck cooling was removed yes and is routed like a factory 1HZ system now with a new radiator and hoses.

-Did not add power steering. With removal of the 900lb front plate and different tires. Turns pretty good with the tall skinny tires it has. (Which are brand new)

-There is no A/C. Manual windows so you can hear the beautiful growl of a naturally aspirated 1HZ. (Sarcasm)

To me completed means you can drive it across the country as a fully functional vehicle and add whatever you want to it without worrying about 27 year old items failing.

Paint is nigh perfect barring a spot or two on the roof where stuff was attached. Remove the gold leaf if you want 🤷🏽‍♂️

It’s an honest rig and I’m open to all offers and questions!

Interesting bed, does it have sides so it could be used like a pickup truck bed?
The cage thing can be removed?
Does it have a tow hitch?

It doesn’t have sides, but if you wanted to add them I reckon using the cage mounting points on the back and the front mounts it could be done.
No tow hitch
Yes the cage can be removed with these bolts.
