Hello, I would like to bench test a blower fan from a 76 FJ40. I do not have a harness to plug into so I would like to use alligator clips and a 12V battery. Can someone identify what should be connected to the 3-prong plug spades (+/-, etc) on the connector (like below).

Thanks,
Drake

WB is ground. Apply voltage to the LB or LW wire with a jumper that has a 15A fuse in series.

Seen your message in the middle of the night and forgot about it. Picture of the white wire can't tell if it's cut or heading into the harness with the plug. That is the ground. Wire that goes to the resistor by itself is low speed. The other one that has the second green wire going into the short harness with the white wire is high speed. That short harness should be attached to the motor. My question is where is the blower motor. Those were soldered connections.

For factory wiring colors @Coolerman is your go to guy.

Thanks for the details. I did not have the actual unit in front of me at the time so I grabbed a random pic from the forum to show the plug.

Wow! @40FOX that is one great video. 👍👍🎯🎯
