now that my little boy is no longer in his booster seat, and has graduated to sitting with just the lap/shouldr belt in the back seat, i want to know:
has anyone here used any of the "bench seat console" i see in varios places, JC Whitney...PepBoys..ect.
I see that most say there must be a minimum distance between the center seat-belts. does this mean that the console are somehow strapped in? none of the info i can see mention how you keep them from flying around the vehicle.
I learned today that a chocolate milk is NOT SAFE in just a 6 year olds hands.I need some sort of holder that he can access, while strapped in.
any ideas?

I've used one for years in my F350. Buckle it in! If you happen to slam on the brakes you will not only still spill your drink but the console will fly as well.
