Belts and hoses, what brand?

Needing to replace some belts and couple of hoses. Should I go to the dealer to get the best brand, or is there a just as good brand at the parts store? Thanks, Johnny

CCOT sells toyota belt and hoses in kits prices seem reasonable

if memory serves you can get all the belts and replace all the radiator and thermostat housing hoses even the properly formed bent ones for about $120

I've used Toyota parts from CCOT and been happy.

Either get OEM Toyota (you can clearly see the difference in construction), and replace in many tens of thousands of miles, or get Napa Gold, and replace in less than that.

Personally, I would be o.k. with using Napa Gold for everyday driving, or as a trail spare, but I would use Toyota if you want to be as autonomous as possible - have the comfort to get off-road by yourself...
