What do folks usually do to replace the bellhousing cover gasket? I took a look on the SOR website and it says it's discontinued (http://www.sor.com/sor/cat018b.tam?xax=26560). The one on my truck has mostly disintegrated. RTV sealant? Cut your own cork gasket material? Foam stripping? Don't bother with it?

I think its still availble from a dealer but I dont think its important what you use. If you have a leaky rear mains it needs to be oil resistant

You're right, the dealers can still get them. Rear main has been replaced so this should hopefully keep crud off the clutch.

Half inch weather stripping used for doors should work fine to keep out dirt and debris. Available at Ace or Home Depot.
