I had the pleasure of cooking and placing 3rd in a BBQ cook off at the James Island Yacht Club this past weekend (watch out mike i may have missed my calling) What a blast to start drinking @ 9:00 in the morning and in to the weee hours if the night.
I had the esteemed pleasure of meeting another club member named Mike Leissure who is the currator of the WW2 museum downtown by the Oold IMAX building. He has a 49 WILLYS Jeep he's been working on for about 6 month. Remember this is the vehicle that inspired the Japenese to build tha Landcruiser. Heres some pics. Our intention was to get some side by side and front and back photos but the beer got the best of us by the end of the afternoon.
